About the Role

As CLOUD DATA ARCHITECT, you will be part of the core team, in ensuring that our product and solution delivered to customers are designed and developed with highly scalable, reliable and maintainable system. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Data Architect to help our customers accelerate time to value and drive rapid digital experiences.

We are looking someone with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field is preferred
  • Knowledge and proven track record experience with Cloud Data Warehouse technologies and complex data architecture and models
  • Working knowledge of designing architectures for large volume real time data streams and component services
  • Knowledge of and experience with Cloud Principal Technology (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, NOSQL, Apache Kafka or Apache Spark) is an advantage
  • Experience with scaling and improving a variety of principal and open-source technologies
  • Good communications and listening skills are critical components of this job. Must be able to interact with development and infrastructure teams, business and principal

The work you’ll do:

  • Provide architectural leadership and design for technology solutions, data architectures, data warehouse, cloud, infrastructure initiatives and cloud data migration strategy
  • Design and develop high volume data ingestion components and ETL solutions to collect data from various internal and external sources
  • Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support the development initiatives
  • Deep knowledge and experiences in cloud technology principal (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Drive decision-making processes to align with business priorities and objectives related to key architecture solutions
  • Design roadmap cloud migration strategy
  • Work closely with developers for implementing application code, data integration process, data modelling techniques and data analytics
