Cybertrend Strengthens Role in AI Playground at the Launch of Telkom Group AI Center of Excellence
Bali, August 28, 2025 – Telkom Indonesia, through Telkom Solution, officially launched the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center of Excellence (CoE) as a strategic initiative to accelerate AI adoption in Indonesia. The launch was held in conjunction with the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 10th Edition at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Nusa Dua, Bali.
The initiative was inaugurated by Telkom’s Director of IT Digital, Faizal R. Djoemadi, and Director of Enterprise & Business Service, Veranita Yosephine, and was driven by cross-sector collaboration involving government, academia, industry, and technology partners. Cybertrend proudly participated in this launch, represented by Cybertrend ‘s President Director, Mr. Aziez Bahalwan, who emphasized the company’s commitment to collaborating in building Indonesia’s AI ecosystem.
Four Strategic Pillars for Building a National AI Ecosystem
The AI CoE by Telkom Solution was holistically designed around four main pillars to support various aspects of the AI ecosystem:
1. AI Campus – opens collaboration between Telkom Group and leading universities such as ITB, ITS, Telkom University, UNT Del, UB, and others.
2. AI Playground – provides a space for exploration and practical research in AI development, including a big data platform for innovators, startups, and students to test new ideas.
3. AI Connect – establishes AI centers in multiple cities for business consultation, collaboration, and outreach. It brings together practitioners, startups, and business players to drive innovative collaboration.
4. AI Hub – focuses on creating real solutions for various industries and MSMEs, also supported by AI centers across cities to enhance consultation and collaboration.
